Our chalet is in Les Masses, municipality of Hérémence, right next to Les Collons and Thyon 2000. How the places connect, how you get up from Sion, and what you find there in winter and summer.

Hérémence, Les Masses, Les Collons: who is who

Hérémence is a municipality in the Val d'Hérens above Sion. Hérémence village, Les Masses and the Grande Dixence dam all belong to it. Our chalet is at Route de la Darbelenna 40 in Les Masses.

Les Collons and Thyon 2000, just above, make up the Thyon resort, at roughly 1,500 to 2,100 m according to the Thyon tourist office. From Les Masses a chairlift connects to the same ski area.
